The Berry Basket Sweater

Gauge: 5 sts = 1 inch
This is a unisex sweater using a basket weave pattern that has a pleasant rhythm. Amy calls this unique collar a turtle-vee because it keeps your neck warm but is not at all constricting.   The pattern has instructions for chest sizes of 40", 43", 46", 49", and 52".   It calls for 5, 5, 6, 6, and 7 skeins of our medium weight yarn, although the sample picture is longer thanpattern suggests, and you may need an extra skein if you wish to add the extra 3".  We recommend the colors available in our Misty Mohair (25% Mohair/75% Wool) group of yarns (Mulberry is shown). Other medium weight Mohair Blend, Silk Blend, or Wool yarns in Natural, Dyed, or Painted colors would also work.
