Feather and Fan Fuzzy Mohair Pillow

We are now carrying a new line of yarn, called Fuzzy Mohair, to complement our Kaleidoscope Yarns. The yarn is 78% Mohair, 13% Wool and 9% Nylon and manufactured in England (our machines are not able to spin such a high percentage of mohair).

The pillow cover shown below is designed to be a quick and easy project to show off these new yarns.
It is sized to fit a 14 inch pillow form.
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner
Gauge: 15 sts = 4 inches
This project uses a strand of Fuzzy Mohair together with a strand of our Kaleidoscope Yarn. The pillow cover takes 1 skein of Fuzzy Mohair and 2 skeins (2 ounces each) of our Kaleidoscope Yarns, or 225 yards of each. Of course, any of the colors shown below may be mixed and matched.

The sample to the left is made using Cherry colored Fuzzy Mohair and Joyce's Choice (magenta, navy and turquoise) Kaleidoscope Yarn.

This hand painted sport weight, 100% wool yarn comes in 2 ounce skeins, with 180 yards per skein.

This yarn comes in 3.5 ounce skeins, with approximately 250 yards per skein.
