The Logan Square Baby Blanket and Toy Block Pattern

Skill Level: Intermediate

Gauge: 14 stitches and 20 rows = 4 inches in the bulky weight

Gauge: 12 stitches = 4 inches; 20 rows = 4.5 inches in the double stranded worsted weight


Instructions are included for two versions of these patterns, one with bulky weight yarn and one which uses double stranding of two worsted weight yarns.

In the bulky weight, the Logan Square Blanket calls for 800 yards of yarn while the Toy Blocks need 75 yards. In the worsted weight, the Logan Square Blanket calls for 750 yards of both yarns, the Toy Blocks, 75 yards each.

Finished size for the blanket is 36?? by 36??, toy 4?? by 4?? by 4??.

For this pattern we recommend our new Heavy Medium Weight Mer-made Yarn, which is machine washable, for the single strand version, or our medium weight Traditional Colors and Kaleidoscope Yarns for the double stranded.
