We have fingering
weight yarn in lots of colors that have just been waiting for
a new project to come along to show them off. A small project
like this mitten is an excellent way to play with colors.
Many of the traditional mitten patterns that are out there don’t have
shaping that fits my hand well, so here is a design that combines
tradition and function in a mitten with a real thumb gusset that fits
better. The pattern takes a 180 yards main color and 60 yards or less
of each of four contrast colors. The kit comes in Green or
Navy/Purple
