The Snowshoe Aran Pullover

Gauge: 9 sts = 2 inches in seed stitch
December 2000 was the snowiest on record for Mt. Horeb. With this in mind, the main motif in this sweater was named for the pattern that snowshoes left in the new snow when trudging out to do chores.

Knit from the top down in our medium weight, 3-ply 25% Silk/75% Wool yarn, this combination of yarn and pattern makes a medium heavy sweater. The color shown to the left is Pale Iris. The pattern has instructions for sizes 40", 43", 47" and 50".

The Pullover can be knit in your choice of Silk Blend Bright Colors or Silk Blend Autumn Colors.

Size 40" requires 7 skeins, sizes 43 and 47" require 8 skeins, and size 50" requires 9 skeins.
