Medium weight yarn

Medium weight yarn is also called worsted weight yarn. It knits at a gauge of 4.5-5 stitches/inch and is often used for hats, mittens, and medium weight sweaters and vests. We offer this weight yarn in 100% wool and 25% mohair/75% wool blend. These yarns come in a variety of natural shades of gray and in many dyed colors which we call Traditional Colors. These are nearly solid but still have some variation in the dyed colors. The 100% wool yarn also comes in hand painted colors, Kaleidoscope colorways and Dip Dyed colorways, and dyed in the wool colors with long color repeats, Colorflow colors.
