Rising Star Selbu Mittens Pattern by Sheryl Hill

Gauge: 18 sts and 21 rows = 3 inches

These mittens were inspired by two pairs of gloves in the Selbu Mitten Museum in Selbu, Norway. 

They call for 170 yards of sport weight yarn in the main color, and 90 yards in the contrast color.  Their finished length is 11" from cuff to fingertip and 4.5" wide across the palm.  

We offer two kits, one with pure wool yarn in Black and Cream and the other with mohair blend yarn in Blackberry and Natural Light Gray.
