January: Ice Crystals ** The cold winter winds don't stand a chance when you wear these medium heavy socks made from our 25% mohair/75% wool blend yarn. Worked in pale blue and violet the pattern consists of an easy, symmetrical repeat. Gauge 5.5 sts = 1".

February: Celtic Hearts *** Let the generous, romantic Celtic spirit dance through the early February snow to Valentines Day. Worked in our sport weight, 25% silk/75% wool in a rosy pink color. Gauge 6.5 sts = 1"

March: Crocus in the Snow ** In March, the crocuses emerge from the ground to let us know that it will be spring soon. The main color is our natural white 20% Cotton/80% wool yarn with a pattern worked in Northwoods Grape and Green. Gauge 6.5 sts = 1".

April: Fanta Sheep ** April is lambing time for many shepherds. This year, there is even a Black Sheep or two for mischief. Worked in 100% wool yarn with natural gray for the main color and hand painted shades of rose for the fantasy sheep. Gauge 6.5 sts = 1".

May: Lilies of the Valley **** Cool May nights and warm sunny days bring the Lilies of the Valley out in full and fragrant bloom. Worked in 20% Cotton/80% wool. Gauge 6 sts = 4".

June: Strawberries ** June is strawberry time in Wisconsin. This is a simple, two color pattern to knit in our 25% silk/75% wool sport weight yarn. Gauge 6.5 sts = 1".

July: Star Spangled Socks ** Wear these socks and march to the beat of a different drummer! Worked in 100% wool sport weight yarn in red, white and blue. Gauge 6 sts = 1".

August: Basket of Blackberries *** August is berry picking time. This sock with its basket weave cradling juicy fruits will remind you of these summer treats whenever you wear them. Worked in 25% silk/75% wool sport weight yarn in Loden and Blackberry. Gauge 6.5 sts = 1".

September: Wild Asters ** As the summer days shorten and the nights get cooler, the Wild Asters fill the Wisconsin roadsides with their pale purple blooms. Worked in our 20% Cotton/80% wool, the two color pattern is simple to follow all the way to the toe. Gauge 6 sts = 1".

October: Pumpkin Patch *** It's October, and Halloween is coming. Knit these socks and be ready to face any Trick or Treaters fearlessly!! Worked in our medium weight 100% wool yarn which makes a medium heavy sock great for keeping your feet warm on all those fall outdoor excursions. Gauge 5.5 sts = 1".

November: Harvest Candles *** The warm tones of November bounty frame the color of the candles glow, setting the table of fellowship and thanksgiving. Worked in our sport weight 25% mohair/75% wool yarn with hand painted "Firecracker" for the main color and Turmeric for the candle flame. Gauge 7 sts = 1".

December: Bohus Holiday Socks *** Wear these socks when you join your knitting friends to celebrate the season and a year's knitting memories. Worked in 20% Cotton/80% wool sport weight yarn. Gauge 6.5 sts = 1".
