This Alpaca Blend yarn is spun here at Blackberry Ridge, using wool grown in the USA and alpaca fibers from South America! The blend consists of 75% Merino or Corriedale wool and 25% Suri alpaca. Natural cinnamon colored alpaca is combined with white wool to make a warm, tan colored yarn, which we call "Natural Light Gray". Brown alpaca is also combined with brown Corriedale wool to make our "Natural Brown" yarn.
To create the other yarns in this line, we take the Natural Light Gray and over-dye it with an assortment of rich dark colors, which are great for doing color pattern work!
This yarn is available in two weights:
Light Fingering weight: 2 oz, 350 yards per skein (Currently only available in Natural Light Gray)
