Gauge: 5 sts = 1 inch after blocking

This is a good first lace project to try. Designed with a Wisconsin theme, it is knit from the bottom center up, and the number of "violets" (the Wisconsin state flower) increase as the stitches increase on either side.

They are then surrounded by a wavy river and honey bees across the top. This is a small shawl, perfect for throwing around your shoulders while reading in bed.
